Cajuput oil

This oil was brought to Europe by the Dutch in the 17th century and was used back then for many infectious diseases and tooth ache. In the western world, cajuput oil is used in dental medicine and is deemed to have antiseptic properties. The oil has a strong scent, camphor like fresh with fruity undertones.

Important characterics: extensively antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, strong analgesic, cooling, refreshing, awakening, increases concentration, clears the head – in general but also when suffering from head colds.
