Blood orange oil

The blood orange, in Latin citrus sinensis, is an evergreen citrus plant of the rue family. The essential blood orange oil is produced by the cold pressing of the fruit skins and has a light, yellowish red colour. Blood orange oil is used as an ingredient in body care products due to its eudermic properties.

Important characterics: disinfectant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and helps with acne, spots and psoriasis.
